Zelostech Z10 Autonomous Vehicles Trialed at CEVA Logistics’ Singapore Facility

The vehicles are being piloted for intra-hub transportation, autonomously moving inventory between different floors of the multi-level logistics facility.
The trial marks another step in the commercial application of autonomous logistics technology in complex, real-world operating environments. It also demonstrates how autonomous vehicles can integrate with existing warehouse infrastructure to automate repetitive material movements and support more flexible logistics operations.
Bringing Autonomous Mobility into Multi-Level Logistics Operations
Spanning approximately 50,000 square meters across eight stories, CEVA Logistics’ Blue Hub is one of its flagship contract logistics facilities in the Asia Pacific region. The site incorporates a range of advanced automation technologies, including Goods-to-Person systems, automated guided vehicles, and robotics. Within this highly automated environment, the Zelostech Z10 vehicles are deployed to transport pallets, totes and other inventories between different floors of the facility.
Rather than requiring dedicated infrastructure, the autonomous vehicles utilize the site's existing ramp system to navigate between levels and complete transportation tasks. This enables autonomous mobility to become part of the existing logistics workflow while minimizing changes to the facility's physical infrastructure. By automating intra-hub transportation, the pilot is designed to improve operational flexibility, optimize staging-area utilization, and enable inventory movements to be scheduled more dynamically according to operational demand.
From Diesel Trucks to Electric Autonomous Vehicles
The trial also demonstrates the potential of autonomous electric vehicles to replace conventional diesel-powered transportation in repetitive intra-facility logistics operations. Based on current trial results, the solution is expected to reduce at least 4,600 kilograms of CO₂ emissions annually, while supporting improvements in operational efficiency. For logistics facilities managing high volumes of inventory across multiple floors, autonomous electric transportation can provide a more sustainable alternative for repetitive material movements while reducing reliance on traditional driver-operated vehicles.
