Singapore, Jan 29 — Zelostech, a Singapore-based leader in L4 autonomous delivery solutions, announced a strategic integration with Cainiao RoboVan. Through the injection of its RoboVan business and a strategic equity investment, Cainiao has become a shareholder of Zelostech, supporting the company in building a global RoboVan platform.
Following the integration, Cainiao RoboVan will no longer independently manufacture or directly commercialize autonomous delivery vehicles. Instead, it will focus on leveraging its global logistics network and ecosystem capabilities to support the large-scale deployment of Zelostech’s RoboVan solutions across international logistics scenarios.
The partnership marks a new phase of collaboration between the two companies in the autonomous logistics sector, combining Cainiao RoboVan’s global operational footprint with Zelostech’s autonomous driving technology and manufacturing capabilities. This combination positions Zelostech at the intersection of real-world industrial deployment and advanced AI research in L4 autonomous driving.
Technology and Operations Integration
The integration brings together core resources from both sides, strengthening Zelostech’s full-stack capabilities across autonomous driving technology, vehicle engineering, and large-scale operations.
As part of the integration, key management and technical leaders from Cainiao RoboVan’s autonomous driving team will join Zelostech and participate in strategic planning and operational management. The combined team integrates Cainiao RoboVan’s experience in managing large-scale global logistics networks with Zelostech’s strengths in perception, planning, and autonomous driving algorithms, forming a platform with both strong technical depth and real-world deployment capability.
Data and AI in Real-World Deployment
Zelostech’s autonomous driving models are trained on nearly 100 million kilometers of real-world public road data, accumulated through large-scale commercial operations. Cainiao RoboVan’s autonomous driving team brings advanced research capabilities in Vision-Language Models (VLM) and World Models, contributing frontier AI technologies to the new platform. The combination of real-world operating data and advanced AI models allows the platform to iterate faster and improve performance in complex logistics environments.
