Hong Kong, June 25, 2026 — As it prepares for commercial deployment in Hong Kong, Zelostech has successfully completed rigorous durability and compliance validation for its Z5 RoboVan. A 1,000 km endurance test and GB/T 41798 compliance testing demonstrated the platform's readiness for continuous, real-world logistics operations.

The validation program addressed two essential aspects of deployment preparation:

  • Extended-Operation Reliability Evaluating vehicle and system performance over 1,000 km of sustained operation.

  • Automated Driving Compliance Testing Assessing automated driving functions under defined and repeatable track-testing conditions in accordance with GB/T 41798.

Completing both tests demonstrates the platform's ability to deliver consistent performance over extended operating distances while meeting established requirements for automated driving functions.

Validating Reliability Over 1,000 km

Commercial logistics depends on repeatable performance. Autonomous vehicles must operate consistently across extended driving cycles rather than perform successfully only in single demonstrations or short test runs.

The 1,000 km endurance test focused on three areas:

  • Sustained System Performance Assessing whether the platform maintained stable operation throughout extended mileage.

  • Consistency Across Repeated Cycles Monitoring vehicle performance across repeated driving tasks and operating conditions.

  • Full-Platform Reliability Evaluating the vehicle, autonomous driving system, and supporting systems as one integrated platform.

Extended testing can reveal performance variations that may not appear during shorter validation runs. It also provides a more representative assessment of real logistics operations, where vehicles are expected to complete frequent and repetitive transport tasks over sustained periods.

Completing GB/T 41798 Compliance Testing

Alongside the endurance test, Zelostech completed GB/T 41798 compliance testing of the platform’s automated driving functions.
The testing evaluated performance across standardized scenarios and repeatable conditions, providing a clear assessment of the platform’s capabilities.

The two tests addressed different but complementary requirements:

  • Durability during extended operation

  • Functional performance across defined driving scenarios

  • Consistency under repeatable test conditions

The endurance test assessed how the platform performed over distance, while the compliance testing evaluated its automated driving functions against established methods and requirements.
Together, the results provide a more complete assessment of the platform’s reliability, functional performance, and readiness for commercial deployment.

Advancing Commercial Deployment in Hong Kong

Completion of the testing program marks a key step toward Zelostech’s commercial deployment in Hong Kong.
The results will inform the next stage of work across vehicle configuration, adaptation to local operating conditions, route and site integration, logistics workflow design, and regulatory review.

For commercial logistics, reliability must extend beyond individual driving functions. Autonomous vehicles must deliver stable and repeatable performance across routes, operating cycles, and sustained daily use.

With these validations complete, Zelostech has moved its Hong Kong deployment closer to continuous real-world operation, extending the company’s approach to locally validated autonomous logistics across global markets.
