SINGAPORE, September 24, 2026 — Zelostech is supporting SATS in deploying and validating an Autonomous Cargo Vehicle (ACV) service at the Changi Airfreight Centre, enabling autonomous cargo transport between SATS Airfreight Terminals and freight forwarders’ warehouses within the Free Trade Zone.
The ACV service is currently being validated under live operating conditions, with the initial vehicle capable of transporting up to 800 kg of cargo for routine point-to-point movements. By introducing autonomous, on-demand transportation into air cargo operations, the solution is designed to reduce reliance on conventional truck and driver schedules, while enabling more flexible and responsive cargo transfers.
The solution can also be scaled through higher-capacity ACVs of up to 1,500 kg, with the potential to support round-the-clock operations as demand grows. Zelostech is working closely with SATS and Changi Airport Group to support the safe integration of autonomous vehicles into the airport’s operating environment. The initiative represents another step toward bringing autonomous logistics from technology validation into real-world, high-frequency cargo operations.
Henry Low, CEO, SATS SG Hub said, "Autonomous transportation allows us to rethink how cargo moves through the airport ecosystem — shifting routine movements towards an on-demand, scalable model. By integrating it into our operations, we can unlock capacity, strengthen resilience and augment the capabilities of our people, while delivering greater speed and reliability for our customers. This is how we are building a more intelligent and responsive Singapore air cargo hub for the future.”
Through this collaboration, Zelostech continues to expand the application of autonomous logistics across airports, logistics hubs and other high-frequency industrial environments, building toward more connected, scalable and intelligent logistics infrastructure.
