Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Visits Zelostech

On the opening day, Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, visited the Zelostech exhibit during his official tour of the fair. The Z5 RoboVan was the first technology exhibit visited during the tour.

After hearing an introduction to Zelostech’s L4 autonomous driving technology and its commercial applications, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the company’s progress in autonomous logistics and showed strong interest in how the technology is being deployed in real-world operations.

A number of Thai government representatives, industry experts, and technology leaders also visited the exhibit throughout the event, with discussions focusing on the role autonomous logistics can play in improving transportation efficiency and supporting the continued development of smart logistics in Thailand.

As the only autonomous vehicle exhibited at NST Fair 2026, the Z5 offered visitors a direct look at how driverless technology is moving beyond testing and into everyday logistics operations.

Autonomous Logistics at Global Scale

Zelostech has built its autonomous logistics platform around full-stack technology development, combining multi-sensor perception, AI-based decision-making, vehicle control, and its HD map-free L4 autonomous driving system.

Today, more than 25,000 Zelostech autonomous logistics vehicles are in operation worldwide, with cumulative L4 autonomous driving mileage exceeding 180 million kilometers across 300+ cities in more than 20 countries.

This operating scale has given Zelostech extensive experience across different road environments, logistics models, operating conditions, and customer requirements. The company is now applying that experience internationally, adapting its technology and products to local regulations, road conditions, and logistics needs.

Global markets have become an increasingly important part of Zelostech’s growth. The company is already active across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Northeast Asia, working with organizations including Singapore Post, Pos Malaysia, and Emirates Post, while advancing commercial deployments with companies including DHL, FairPrice, and F&N.

Thailand as a Strategic Market for Southeast Asia

Thailand is one of Zelostech’s priority markets in Southeast Asia.

With a mature logistics and express-delivery sector, concentrated distribution demand in Bangkok and surrounding areas, and continued growth in e-commerce, retail, and on-demand delivery, the market presents a strong fit for autonomous logistics.

At NST Fair 2026, Zelostech showcased how RoboVans can support applications including urban distribution, industrial and business park logistics, warehouse transportation, and other recurring goods movements.

The exhibition also provided an opportunity to deepen engagement with Thai government agencies, logistics companies, transportation operators, retailers, and technology partners while gaining a closer understanding of local operating requirements.

From Technology Demonstration to Local Operations

Zelostech’s next stage in Thailand will focus on moving from technology demonstration and project validation toward localized operations and larger-scale commercial deployment.

The company plans to continue local testing and operational validation, adapting its autonomous driving system to Thailand’s road conditions, traffic patterns, and regulatory requirements.

At the same time, Zelostech will expand cooperation with local logistics, express delivery, transportation, and retail companies, identifying commercial applications in areas such as urban delivery, hub-to-hub transport, and industrial park logistics.

Product and technology localization will also remain a priority. Local operating data will be used to further optimize vehicle performance, safety, and operational efficiency for the Thai market.

Over the longer term, Zelostech sees Thailand as an important regional hub for Southeast Asia. Experience gained in Thailand will support the company’s expansion into markets including Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, as Zelostech builds a broader autonomous logistics presence across the region.

Building the Next Stage of Autonomous Logistics in Southeast Asia

NST Fair 2026 marks another step in Zelostech’s expansion across Southeast Asia.

As logistics operators across the region face rising labor costs, driver shortages, and growing pressure to improve efficiency, autonomous logistics is moving steadily from technology demonstration toward commercial deployment.

For Zelostech, the opportunity in Thailand goes beyond exhibiting a vehicle. It is about building the local partnerships, operational experience, and technology foundation needed to bring autonomous logistics into everyday commercial use at scale.
