Zelostech Intelligence Awarded Singapore's First Unmanned Logistics Vehicle Road License
Recently, Zelostech Intelligence passed CETRAN's self-driving test program in Singapore, and the first unmanned logistics vehicle license within Singapore was issued to Zelostech Intelligence by Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA), an event that marks Zelostech Intelligence vehicles are able to carry out unmanned operation tasks on designated public roads in Singapore, which is another significant progress made by Zelostech Intelligence in the development of the overseas market and opens up a brand-new way for the Domestic automatic driving products landing at sea opens up a whole new situation.
In October last year, Zelostech and the Singapore General Labor Standards Co-operative (Supply Chain Company) (hereinafter referred to as "GLS") signed a memorandum of cooperation, the two sides on Singapore's first high-level self-driving city distribution project to start the operation of the ground. This is the first time that Singapore has explored the feasibility and effectiveness of integrating unmanned freight vehicles into the operations of a logistics company in the field of freight forwarding, and it is also the first time that a self-driving city distribution product has been applied and practiced in Singapore.
The project is divided into three phases, including the feasibility verification phase of unmanned driver in multi-storey logistics warehouses, the actual operation phase of multi-storey warehouses for freight transport, and the phase of direct logistics transfer between distribution centers.
During this period, Zelostech, by virtue of its profound technical accumulation and innovation ability, joined the working group of the Singapore Standards Committee to participate in the modification of the local TR-68 automatic driving specification technical standards, and worked with the relevant local departments to determine the test program required for unmanned logistics vehicles to operate on the open road to fill the regulatory gap for this type of vehicle to operate on the open road in Singapore, and played a significant role in the landing of the global automatic driving products in Singapore and even in the Asia-Pacific region. This has played a benchmarking role for the landing of global automated driving products in Singapore and even the Asia-Pacific region, and also provided valuable experience and reference for the formulation of global automated driving technology regulations.
At present, the cooperation project between Zelostech and GLS has officially entered the stage of direct cargo flow between distribution centers. In the future, Zelostech Intelligent Vehicles will provide GLS with fully automated, driverless cargo transportation services on designated public roads in Singapore on a regular basis, which will not only achieve great improvement in logistics efficiency and reduce labor costs for GLS, but also effectively reduce local energy consumption and lower carbon emissions, bringing brand-new development opportunities for the logistics industry in Singapore and even around the world.
As a well-known supply chain enterprise in Singapore and Southeast Asia, GLS has a huge logistics network and rich industry experience. The cooperation with Zelostech will undoubtedly maximize the complementary advantages of both parties and jointly promote the development and application of unmanned logistics technology.
Looking ahead, Zelostech will continue to increase its investment in overseas markets, promote the innovative application of self-driving products in more countries and more scenarios, and contribute to building a community of human destiny and realizing sustainable development!
